UPDATE: Mud Lake Campsite is closed due to flooding. We will be touring the bus collection Saturday July 6 between 10am and 11am and then have lunch (bring a dish to share). Contact Connie for details and camping address.

For those interested in trip to Dubuque to visit Joe Mond’s VW collection on Saturday July 6. Camping is available July 5 and 6 ( you have to book two nights) at Mud Lake Park 6 miles north of Dubuque on the Big Muddy. 8 sites open as of today (3/30/24). Book soon! Its a holiday weekend! Only 30% of the campsites at Mud Lake Park campground can be reserved online.  The other 70% are first come, first served.  Campsites used for reservations that are not reserved can be used on a first come, first served basis.  A list of campsites that are reserved will be posted in the campground kiosk and a yellow tag displayed on the site.
