A heartfelt “Thank you!” to our participants, spectators, CVVC members, sponsors, vendors and our Pioneer Park family for a great weekend of fun at the CVVC’s 21st Annual Volkswagen Show, Swap, Campout & Cruise! Despite the rain and storms, we ventured on our Friday night cruise and broke our records for overnight campers and number of registered Volkswagens at Saturday’s show. The Silent Auction was hugely successful, and we will be releasing the details and writing the check to Joshua’s Camp in the coming days. What a great way to celebrate Herbie’s 50th Birthday!

To all the guys out there who are invested in something bigger than themselves (whether that’s a child, pet, or Volkswagen!): Happy Father’s Day! We appreciate you and all you do.

If you aren’t already at Pioneer Park enjoying the festivities, come on down and join us! We are raising money to help a Chippewa Valley nonprofit: Joshua’s Camp, a camp for children with cancer and their families. Spectators are welcome with a suggested donation of $2, and we’ve got AMAZING silent auction items up for grab with the proceeds going directly to Joshua’s Camp. We know that it’s a mouthful: Chippewa Valley Volkswagen Club, Incorporated (CVVC) 21st Annual Show, Swap, Campout and Cruise. But the name really could be even longer because there is SO much more fun stuff going on during this Father’s Day weekend event–for kids and adults.

Scattered showers are 40% likely to literally rain on our parade according to forecasts for Friday and Saturday. We’re not worried! Rain or shine, we will be descending on Pioneer Park tomorrow to start the festivities for the 21st Annual CVVC All-Volkswagen Show, Swap, Campout and Cruise. Afterall, the forecast is really saying we’ve got 60% chance for no precipitation!!
