On May 20th, the CVVC kicked off the Spring season with our Annual Spring Castoff Cruise. Before the cruise, Club members gathered together to enjoy some great Volkswagen conversation–exchanging ideas and experience. Then we spent the beautiful day winding through twists and turns enjoying the scenery on the way to Backwoods Resort Bar & Grille on the Island Chain of Lakes. During our working lunch, Club members finalized last minute updates to the upcoming show on June 16th. (preregister here if you haven’t already!) After the productive Club meeting, we set out along the Chippewa river through Cornell and toured Irvine Park on the way to Leinie Lodge where the group gathered much attention from area tourists. It was a great way to start out the cruising season!
